A typical gallery at a prominent art fair such as Art Basel or Frieze can
pay between $50 000 up to $400 000 for a fair that is open for
a week or less, depending on square footage. This excludes other costs
such as shipment, staff pay, and accomodation costs. I wonder if it’s worth it,
or if they make a profit or not. My mini booth can hopefully
make it more affordable by reducing the square footage used.
